The DAILY READING message below explains exactly what God has been showing us the past several years. He is showing us more and more how truly “NARROW” His true way is. He is Pruning! He is separating the wheat and chaff.
He has shown us many false teachers through this;
When a false prophet came in wanting to claim “all” will go to heaven. (Matthew 7:21)
When a wolf came in and abused their authority destroying Christ’s witness and the Gospel message. (Eph. 6:9, Lev. 25:43, 1 Peter 5:2&3)
When the Pharisees rose up claiming their own righteousness and selfishly put the free in greater bondage with rules that Christ does not speak. (Matthew 23:4, 2 Peter 2:19, Galatians 5:, Matthew 23:15)
When those who speak prosperity and riches, the ability to use the Holy Spirit as they want and not seeing His Spirit as a person who gives Himself for us to teach, train, and enable us to do God’s will. His Spirit is Not a power to use to get our will! They begin to run after the “feeling good & happy” gospel that is completely opposite of His Truth. Happiness and Joy are two different things. They became mesmerized by emotions and turned away from the bold truth of God’s Word.
When those came in claiming “Love” for all people but not being bold enough to speak truth (pure love) about their sin as being sin and started sweeping things hidden under the rug. They forget we serve a God who sees all things! (Romans 1:18-32)
When earning riches was far more valuable than the souls of men. When forgetting the only disciple empowered by riches was Judas.
When hiding in their sins became easy. When they believed they could continue in their sin and Grace would abound. When they have refused to listen to reason or believe pthe truth of His word. (Romans 1,6,& 8)
When the false practices and ways of Balaam came creeping openly (oxymoron) into the very church that is supposed to be based on His Holy Word! They quickly hide “false religions” and change the names of their practices to keep people from knowing the truth of what forms of false religions they are now teaching. (2Pe 2:15-16)
When those ministries with false teachings are growing and growing false converts we must remember His Word says,
The Narrow Way
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Those of us who are teaching His Word must remember we are held accountable. James 3:1 says, “You know that we who teach will be judged more severely.”
We must never take our teaching lightly and always be sure what we are teaching is truth. We must also teach with love or we are a clanging noise. Revelation 2 speaks very clear about the church that was watching all spiritual things so closely but they lacked love. May it never be based upon our own pride, opinions, emotions or feelings. May our words and teachings focus on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable.
They (whoever they may be) can try to shut us down, shun us, talk bad about us, rise up against us but they are never able to take away our faith if it is truly based upon the One True Rock.
Praying for us to stand firm in His truth when many around us have taken the easy path, followed the crowds, or even some were led astray in pride. We know His word says pride comes before destruction.
May we continue to stand armored in His truth.

Discerning False Prophets: Seeing Their False Converts.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits. -Matthew 7:19–20
We can spot false prophets by the kind of people they attract. Their converts will have the same kind of superficial, self-centered, unbiblical orientation as they do. Of this sort of attraction Peter says, “Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned” (2 Peter 2:2). Many folks gravitate to false teachers because those men propagate what the majority of people want to hear and believe (2 Tim. 4:3).
God has not ordained false prophets, but within His will He allows them to exist. And it is within His purpose that false factions develop. “For there must also be factions among you, so that those who are approved may become evident among you” (1 Cor. 11:19). Factions often attract followers of false teachers. And in a sense, this protects genuine saints by separating the chaff from the wheat in the church.
Ultimately, the Lord makes sure that the converts of false prophets, who do not bear good fruit, get cut down and thrown into the fire of judgment. Peter says they are “bringing swift destruction upon themselves” (2 Peter 2:1, Jer. 23:30–40; John 15:2, 6). A watchful, discerning, vigilant believer, armed with the Word of truth, will be able to isolate false teachers and withdraw from them, because he or she “will know them by their fruits.”
Discussions like these often get us labeled as haughty and narrow-minded. How do you handle these kinds of accusations? Why will some people never understand your concern for the church’s purity?
