Some of you know of all the losses of life we have had over the past few weeks, and again, with a heavy heart we share that yesterday we lost a good friend.
We have had a lot of death in our lives in the past weeks. Today, we are looking to the Lord for our daily strength, as this is the day the LORD has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Our focus will continue to be on HIM and not on our sufferings. We, who are left behind when others die, grieve for them, but our hearts are heavy as we are sad they are gone, or maybe sad because they didn’t know the hope that is in the Lord, not because He has left us or forsaken us.
Today, we will rejoice in the Lord always. Again we will say, rejoice!
Today, we will let our gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
Today, we will be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God; and we know the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Today, we will think on these things that whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy— we will meditate on these things. The things, which we learned and received and heard and saw in Him, these we do, and the God of peace will be with us.
Thank you for praying!
