Today, I am a witness to our mighty LORD living out His very words of scripture through my dear sister’s life! I read His word daily and know they are true but to see them alive and active in a friend’s life, during a very difficult trial, and watching her walk in HIS strength, moment by moment, is a very powerful testimony to HIS goodness.
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
He is doing this for her, daily, as I can see Him, His hands, in each step at a time when the enemy comes in like a flood GOD RAISES UP A STANDARD and shows HIS GOODNESS to her.
We can’t ever understand all that happens in our lives, the sufferings, the trials that come, or even try to understand them, and who really wants to? But GOD knows the plans He has for us and that what was meant for evil the LORD will use and turn for the good of those who love Him.
For He knows the thoughts that He thinks toward her, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give her a future and a hope. Then she will call upon GOD and go and pray to JESUS, and HE will listen to her. And she will seek GOD and find HIM, when she searches for HIM with all her heart.
Therefore, because she humbled herself under the mighty hand of God, He may exalt her in due time, casting all her care upon Him, for He cares for her.
YES, the God of all grace, who called her to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after she has suffered a while, He will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle her.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
He holds His priesthood permanently, because He continues forever. Consequently, He is able to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen!
