We are His poetry, His work of art, and His Masterpiece.

In the reading of Ephesians 2 in verse 10 a friend showed me that “workmanship” means poetry, poem, or work of art in Greek! ♥

Let us really think about this. We are His poetry? Yes! We are His beautiful words that flow so perfectly together to portray an image or a thought in the mind of those who hear it.

We are His work of Art! Today, take great comfort in knowing you are a MASTERPIECE. You are greater and more valuable than the Mona Lisa, a Rembrandt, Michelangelo’s David or the Sistine Chapel’s ceiling, Van Gogh’s Starry Night, or the Girl With a Pearl Earring.

And what is done with Masterpieces? They are guarded, protected, put in safe places, and have GREAT VALUE!! People travel the world to just see them. They aren’t to be touched. They are cleaned with special equipment to further protect their worth.

This is who we are in HIM when we have been cleansed, covered, and protected by HIS Grace. Just imagine being given a Masterpiece work of art for your birthday. What would you do? Would you set it in your garage to collect dust? Would you hide it in a closet? Or would you boldly display out in your living room on the main wall of your home for all of your guests to see? Well, Grace and forgiveness is the gift He has given you to display His splendor and masterpiece for all to see. How could we possibly open such a gift? It was our Father who provide us with our faith, He equipped us with it, and faith provided us with the ability to open the gift of being His masterpiece. (Ephesians 2:8)

Today, rise, shine, and give God the Glory for what He has done in, through, for, and with you as His masterpiece. Let His amazing words flow from you as poetry flows off the pages of a book and into the hearts of those who hear it.

Oh, what a glorious thing to behold.
