The Spirit of the Lord GOD went inside the Topeka’s women’s facilities this past weekend. He was with us!! He was present this weekend.
The LORD anointed us all to bring good news to the poor, the women in Topeka. He sent us into those facilities for a plan He had and He will and is binding up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives of Topeka, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.
He is bringing comfort to those who mourn; moment by moment, hour by hour, day by day. He will give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, there was a planting of the LORD that took place in Topeka this weekend, that He may be glorified.
In Him we know these beautiful women will build up the ancient ruins; He shall raise up the former devastations; He shall repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations. (Isaiah 61)
Last night I slept with their faces on my mind. I, again, heard their stories this morning when I woke up. But the joy and comfort came when I heard their powerful praises worshipping with me in Church this morning.
Yes, this weekend showed an abundance of broken lives and so much pain…but we know, trust, and believe that HE is working on their healing now moment by moment. We trust that He touched them and is working on binding up the brokenhearted, rebuilding, renewing, and restoring.
We truly pray that one day the women in the facilities of Topeka will all raise their hands and wave them in freedom and victory just as those windmills in the fields of Kansas.
To GOD be the GLORY!
