Be steadfast, always abounding in the work of the Lord!

This morning I was reading in Philippians and thought of a ministry partner who is being beaten down for a time. It was in chapter one where Paul is imprisoned and how some “believers” were actually rejoicing over his imprisonment as they now had a chance to be in the limelight. How sick this was to show their true motives and selfish behavior of preaching the gospel for their own advancement.

But what Paul’s reaction was amazed me the most. His love for the spreading of the gospel was so great that he wasn’t overly concerned about the pretense motives verses the truth motives of the spreading of the word. He was happy that the word was being preached even if it meant he had to be in prison. I think of those being imprisoned by not being allowed to go into certain facilities. I believe it is only for a time and that GOD’s word will still remain true and go forth for HIS GLORY.

May we look to GOD for HIS GLORY to be revealed wether as a selfish motive by some, or the pure motive of others, and may HIS WORD not return void.

I am watching a sweet yellow Goldfinch out of my window now and it amazes me how GOD knows exactly where this lil’ bird is getting his water, food, and shelter…how much more does HE care for us? Amen!

To GOD be the GLORY and may He continue to feed your soul and spirit as you work for HIS GLORY!!

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. 1 Cor. 15:58

Consider yourself HUGGED!
