Shields Up!!

Shields Up!!
He is our shield!
What is a shield?
A shield is to cover, to cover from danger; to defend; to protect; to secure from assault or injury.

For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield.
“Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders.”
My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior!
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.
My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart.
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.
“Prepare your shields, both large and small, and march out for battle!”
1 Peter 1: 3-6
Praise to God for a Living Hope Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
