Good to GO!

We should always be good to go. Nothing we suffer through has brought us to the point of shedding blood. Hebrews 12:4

God shows us the history of men of faith in Hebrews 11. That is what faith is. Faith is not doubting or easily giving up because the worldly view of it looks impossible. It is not quitting when people treat you poorly.

Today, as I read through Hebrews 11 I almost leaped from my chair and shouted, “WOO HOO!!” His truth filled me with such strength and hope about what is to come. Isn’t God good at showing us promises to hold onto when we need them?  It is like a rope line when you may be dangling off a cliff.  His promises never change. They are there, written in His Word, for us to hang onto.  His Word is to give us encouragement to keep persevering.

This world offers all sorts of false securities. Money, if you save enough money and get enough stored up you will always be secure. House, if you have a nice house you will be secure. Friends, if you have the right ones life will be happy. Do you see the trend here?? The world will offer you hope in all material things and people.  When it comes down to it your true faith and security needs to be in Him. Our Lord needs to be your all. Our Father remains and has your reward waiting for you. It is far better. It is PERFECT!!

Rejoice today for it is today.  He is the same and the promise is the same today, tomorrow and forever. OH, REJOICE!

My feet are planted not on the soil of this world but in the world to come where my light will be His face shining on me!! He will be my warmth and security FOREVER! Yes, I live in Security!! Hallelujah!
