I have a friend whose son is being confronted with much rejection in his young life. It grieves me to hear the stories that he faces, time after time, yet I know GOD, one thing of which I can boast freely, and I know HE has a plan for this young mans life just like the many men and women HE used for a mighty purpose in the bible.
“See, it is I who created the blacksmith
who fans the coals into flame
and forges a weapon fit for its work.
And it is I who have created the destroyer to work havoc;
no weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
and this is their vindication from me,”
declares the LORD.
God is the one who forges a weapon fit for it’s work. Isn’t that comforting? It sure is for me.
God forged the weapon, or enemy, Pharaoh. He is the one who created Pharaoh for such a time as Egypt when Moses went there to lead the captives out, yet Moses said; “What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The LORD did not appear to you’?”
See, Moses feared the rejection of man too, but GOD was GOD (and still is by the way!) and had hardened Pharaoh’s heart for a purpose and a plan.
Later in the story you read where the captives are set free and are leaving and what happens? Pharaoh had changed his mind, his huge army came out chasing the Israelites and they turn and see the Egyptians coming in fear. Why? Because they forgot that GOD said that “NO WEAPON forged against you will prevail.” And GOD was true to His word as even though they forged through to go after the Israelites, not one of the Egyptians lived or survived and not one Israelite was harmed. Not one weapon prevailed against them, not one! HALLELUJAH!
You may not always see the things in your life as part of HIS plan, to mold you and make you into the character of HIS choosing, but HE is always working and NOTHING can happen to you that HE does not see.
I want each of you to remember that through it all GOD does have a plan and you have to learn forgiveness from the heart through all the pain, lies, and deceit that people (especially the so-called Christians) throw at you as you are being trained for battle, and the weapons are just getting you ready for the VICTORY!
May each one of your scars from battle make you stronger for HIS service and work that HE already has planned out for you.
GOD has a mighty plan for you and wants you to use all your rejection for a far greater purpose.
Remember it says “NO WEAPON!” not some or most weapons … but “NO WEAPON!”
Keep Looking UP!!
HE LOVES YOU!!!
In HIS arms for HIS Glory :o)
